WHO WE ARE
Art is undoubtedly one of the greatest expressions of the richness of the human soul, both for those who conceive and present it, and for those who receive and appreciate it.

For over 30 years I have lived, created, loved and received the highest forms of musical art, thanks to my work as a soprano in the choir of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.​​​​
​
In these very decisive years - so much so that they sometimes deserved the reputation of the "golden years" of the Italian Classical musical panorama - I was able to work with historical artists such as Claudio Abbado, Luciano Pavarotti, Anna Netrebko and many others, learning what it means to increasingly explore high artistic and cultural pinnacles.

With the same enthusiasm with which I took my first steps on stage 38 years ago and ended my collaboration with the Teatro alla Scala, today I find myself presenting an initiative aimed at enhancing and transmitting the enormous musical wealth that artists like me, and my collaborators were able to accumulate: the Project called OltreVoce.
The OltreVoce project, conceived by Silvia Chiminelli, is made up of a group of artists who have shared years of professional growth as colleagues in the most prestigious theaters in the world. These professionals, now members of the OltreVoce choir, will also be the teachers of the preparation courses for Choir Artists.
SILVIA CHIMINELLI

Artist of the choir of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan from 1987 to 2024, creator of the OltreVoce project and prominent Vocal Coach on the Italian scene for over 20 years and cultivator of vocal health through her singing method.

Winner of the AsLiCo Competition, thanks to which she debuted in various roles, she wrote the book Master Voice.
PIERLUIGI MALICONICO

Baritone, he graduated from the Bari conservatory with honors and special mention, also obtaining the qualification to teach vocal technique.
He carries out an intense artistic activity, he has sung and still sings with big names such as Ricciarelli, Cura, Patanè, Serra, Obrazcova, Dessì, Sabatini etc.
Since 2001 he has been a permanent artist of the choir of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
