

MASSIMILIANO BULLO
Pianist
He began studying the piano at the age of five under the guidance of Franca Balzaretti, then continuing, at the age of ten, with Carlo Vidusso.
In 1974 he joined the children's choir of the Teatro alla Scala, also distinguishing himself as a soloist.
In 1984 he completed his studies, graduating in piano at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan under the direction of Ernesto Esposito. Already in 1980, four years before graduating, he obtained a scholarship as Assistant Master at the Teatro alla Scala, a position he officially assumed from October 1984 until September 2017.
From 1986 to 2005 he held the role of Hall Master at the Teatro alla Scala, collaborating with the Musical Director Riccardo Muti, mainly as a vocal coach.
In 1997 he participated as a fortepiano maestro under the direction of Riccardo Chailly for the production of the opera Il Turco in Italia, recorded for the DECCA label.
From 1995 to 2005 he collaborated with the Filarmonica della Scala, both in Italy and during international tours.
Since October 2017 he has been carrying out consultancy activities for the preparation of singing companies, with particular attention to the Italian operatic repertoire, at various international theatres.
